What role does the business play in acquiring the grant?
Grants are another method the town can assist new businesses and can be used in conjunction with tax abatement. The town makes the application on behalf of the business, and depending on the amount required, an agreement between the town and business is signed. The business is required to provide financial records and a business plan.
Does the town provide any marketing incentives?
The town currently works with the Anthony Chamber of Commerce and has established a visitors and convention department to assist with the marketing of our town. Anthony is also partnering with the City of El Paso and County of El Paso to promote a regional approach to all surrounding communities.
